Silverton Soap Class

We had a fabulous group of ladies (and one brave gentleman) attend our soap class in Silverton two weeks ago. The evening progressed well with luxurious soaps being created on every inch of available table space.

It was one of my favorite classes this year for two reasons:

1. I didn't know anybody at the class. (I enjoy making new friends!).
2. No one at the class had ever made soap before!

It was exceedingly enjoyable to watch the process as 13+ people created something that they had never made before. It was also the first time I taught Milk Soap making at a class. Everything went incredibly smoothly! I look forward to incorporating that process into all of my future classes.

Well, the October 8th class in McMinnville is now officially closed for registration, but we still have a few spots left at the October 22nd class in Boring and the November 5th class in Hillsboro.

Stirring the soap to trace took a while with only 8 stick blenders!

After that I'll be taking a Christmas break...and working on an exciting new branch of Clean Hands Soap which I hope to tell you about very soon!

Thank you to all the wonderful people who participated in the soap class last Saturday! I had a great time getting to meet some of you for the first time and introducing you to the world of soap making. Thank you for making the class a great success!
